In this edition of Titan Tails, I want to highlight some bonded pairs that All 4 Animals Rescue has available for adoption. Animals that are bonded have a special and deep bond with each other and should not be separated. If separated, they could become sick or emotionally unwell. I’ll be talking about two bonded pairs in this article: Foxy and Mogwai (cats) and Stella and Myla (dogs).
On Oct. 18, new club Diversity in Disability hosted a disability immersion event, “Walk in My Shoes.” Attendees were able to experience visual impairments through glasses, hear different kinds of tinnitus, experience simulated test-taking anxiety and hear from wheelchair users.

IU South Bend men’s basketball kicks off soon. Before they do, it's important to know who your 2023-2024 Titans are. Last season, the Titans finished the season 23-9 with a 15-5 CCAC (Chicagoland Collegiate Athletics Conference) record. The Titans would go on to finish in fourth place in the CCAC. However, the Titans basketball team has a thing for going dancing, as they were able to win the CCAC tournament.
Halloween. The time of year where everyone is just a bit more aware of the paranormal. Ghouls, ghasts and gremlins are not a peculiar sight in October. In fact, many adorn the lawn or decorate your houses. But what happens when they take hold inside your body? This week, I will be reviewing two movies about these uninvited guests.
On Sept. 11, the South Bend Common Council approved the expansion of the Riverfront District. This increased the District from 1,500 square feet to 3,000 square feet.

Cynthia Murphy is the recruitment and retention counselor and academic advisor for Hispanic students. She has been here at IU South Bend since August 2004 and will retire in February this year.
