All 4 Animals Rescue in South Bend, a five-minute drive from campus, has many cats and dogs available for adoption! Let’s talk about two of them: Rocky and Puzzle.

Rocky is a three-year-old chocolate lab mix. He’s a little bit nervous around strangers, but once he warms up to you, he loves cuddling with you and playing ball. He would do best as the only animal in the home. He will alert you about any intruders and will need a slow introduction to any visitors. He loves to run, so a fenced-in yard is a must. His adoption fee is $250.

Puzzle is a six-year-old tortoiseshell long-haired cat. She is known at the rescue to have some tortitude. Despite this, she loves attention; she’ll sit on your lap while you’re on the toilet to cuddle with you. She can tolerate other cats and, if dogs are present, would do best in a home with a laid-back dog. In new environments, she has swatted and hissed as a response. Due to this and her tortitude, she would do best in a home without small children. Her adoption fee is $75.
