The annual Student Life Award nominations are now open for students, faculty and teachers to be recognized for outstanding leadership, powerful advocacy and proactive efforts, and meaningful involvement in the community.
Nominations for the 11 awards are open until March 23 at 5 p.m. Self-nominations and nominations from IU South Bend students, faculty and staff are accepted. You can find the submission portals on Titan Atlas under “Forms” in the navigation menu.

Centellas Student Leader of the Year Award: Honors a current student who makes a positive difference on campus. The student shows good and fair leadership, comes up with new ideas to make campus better and helps build a friendly and supportive community.
Inclusion Impact Award: Those who provide meaningful opportunities for others and help make our campus a welcoming place for everyone. The award recognizes those who increase access, strengthen connections and promote a supportive environment where all Titans can succeed.
Outstanding Student Organization of the Year Award: Celebrating groups that enhance campus life through impactful events, community engagement, service and outstanding professionalism. It acknowledges the organizations that make our campus lively, connected and inspiring.
Staff Member/Administrator of the Year Award: Someone who enhances our campus community, offers creative solutions to difficult problems and leads with professionalism and compassion.
Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award: This yearly award honors advisors who promote student development, enhance organizational success and encourage meaningful involvement on campus.
Educator of the Year Award: This award honors educators who promote student success, excel in teaching and offer meaningful mentorship. Educators that encourage critical thinking and development, cultivate inclusive and dynamic classrooms, and assist students in their academic, personal and professional growth.
Chancellor’s Outstanding Student Employee Award: Honors student employees who show great service, dependability and leadership while doing well in their studies. They balance work and school with honesty and purpose, showing the best of our student community.
Emerging Professional Award: This award honors students who show great professionalism, initiative, honesty and make a positive difference at their learning site. If your student always goes above and beyond, works well with others and gives their best in real-world experiences, help us recognize their hard work.
IU South Bend Titan Trailblazer Award: Employers who go the extra mile to help IU South Bend students with internships, clinicals, practicums and student teaching. The Titan Trailblazer Award honors organizations that give students valuable training, guidance, leadership chances and real-world experiences to help them grow in their careers.
Wolfson Senior Legacy Award: This honor celebrates seniors who have shown strong leadership, made positive changes and started new ideas that will help students in the future.
Club Member of the Year: Recognized so student clubs can nominate a member who has gone above and beyond their usual duties.
