In a world filled with strife and conflict, it’s important to remember that there are good things to look for in day-to-day life. Locally, nationally or internationally, big or small, there’s always something to celebrate.
This week we are discussing the NASA Artemis II rocket launch! While this may seem less like good news and more like nerdy space stuff, I hope this can still brighten your day. Plus, going to the moon and learning about space are undeniably cool things.
Aside from space being cool, this rocket launch can prove beneficial for gathering information and collaborating with foreign nations on this effort. There is always information that can be gathered from going to space, but no one has gone to the moon or further in over 50 years due to politics and a lack of financial support. And it is advantageous that this is a collaborative effort for different nations to come together and contribute to a once in a lifetime experience.
Ultimately, this trip to space proves that we should embrace our capabilities to learn and collaborate, and we can always shoot for the stars (or the sun)! Opportunities like this are truly out of this world and may only arise once every blue moon. By shooting for the sun, we open ourselves to shining a light in our community.
