Every year, IU South Bend hosts Take Back the Night, an event designed to bring the campus community together to raise awareness about sexual violence and stand against it.
On April 21 from 1 – 6 p.m. in Fireside and on the Campus Mall, students can help make posters, march and hold a speak out with campus advocates. Take Back the Night is a global event, and at IU South Bend, students will have an opportunity to support and advocate for victims. Held by the Division of Student Engagement and Student Counseling Center, the goal of the event is to raise awareness, empower survivors and call for an end to sexual violence.
